Here are some samples of my print design work. The brunt of my work at School Zone has been in print media—particularly in the development of cover and package designs. I create design concepts by hand and digitally. The finished artwork is then carefully produced in Photoshop and Illustrator.

These samples showcase some of my interactive design work. My interactive work at School Zone deals primarily with creating front end graphics for various applications and advertising. As with my print media, my process is to design concepts by hand and digitally. Finished artwork is then carefully produced in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Vector illustration often has a very exciting, graphic feel to it—here it is applied to several larger-than-life pieces created to celebrate the Coast Guard (including fantastic monster attacks and some local, cultural icons at stake). These pieces were created as entries for Grand Haven Michigan's own Art Walk competition.

For School Zone, I've been blessed with the opportunity to expand my illustration style palette. Although I am always able to apply the principles of illustration to my design work, I am sometimes literally able to illustrate for various projects at School Zone.

I created these illustrations—as well as the cover designs that house them—using a combination of vector line-work in Illustrator and digital color in Photoshop. The maze behind the mouse is an adaptation of a maze by my co-worker, Joe Kramer.
